In a thrilling semi-final match of the Champions Trophy 2025 held in Dubai on Tuesday, Virat Kohli played a standout innings, scoring 84 runs to help India secure a four-wicket victory over Australia.

With this win, India moved on to the final, successfully chasing a target of 265 runs in 48.1 overs.

Kohli received strong support from Shreyas Iyer, who scored 45 runs, KL Rahul, who finished with 42 not out, and Hardik Pandya, who added 28 runs. Their contributions were key to India’s victory after a tough start.

Earlier in the match, India bowled first and did well to limit Australia to 264 runs. Mohammed Shami was the best bowler for India, taking three wickets for 48 runs. Varun Chakravarthy and Ravindra Jadeja also helped by taking two wickets each.

Steve Smith was the top scorer for Australia, making 73 runs off 96 balls, but it wasn’t enough to win the match.

With this victory, India will now face the winner of the match between South Africa and New Zealand in the final. The team is excited and ready to compete for the Champions Trophy title.
