J&K Government Approves 194 Road and Bridge Projects Worth Over ₹1,000 Crore

Srinagar 11 March: The Jammu and Kashmir government announced on Tuesday that it has approved 194 road and bridge projects, costing a total of ₹1,022.63 crore. This investment aims to improve infrastructure and connectivity in the region.

In response to a question from MLA Dr. Sajad Shafi, the minister shared details about the projects. Out of the 194 approved projects, 10 infrastructure projects worth ₹50.43 crore have been funded through the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF-XXIX) for Baramulla district in the last two years.

For the Uri constituency, the minister mentioned that two road projects have also been approved under the RIDF-XXIX scheme, with an estimated cost of ₹6.45 crore. These projects will help improve local roads and make it easier for people to travel and transport goods.
