Bandipora, 13 March – On Thursday, the Indian Army, along with the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), arrested two suspected individuals in Bandipora district. The arrests happened during a joint search operation based on specific intelligence.
According to an army official, the operation took place on March 12, 2025, along the Gandbal-Hajin Road. During the search, the security forces found a number of weapons and ammunition, including one pistol, one pistol magazine, two hand grenades, one AK magazine, and other military supplies.
The two suspects are now in custody, and the police are continuing their investigation to find out more about them and what they planned to do with the weapons.
