Samba, 10 March – Police in Samba district arrested two suspected criminals on Monday and seized a homemade gun and 8.13 grams of heroin from them. The suspects, Pritam Singh, also known as Sethi, and Narayan Sharma, known as Shunna, were caught in a house in the Ramgarh area.
According to a police spokesperson, the arrests happened after the police received a tip-off about the suspects planning to commit a serious crime. Acting on this information, the police raided the house of Anoop Singh, also known as Makhan, where the suspects were found.
The spokesperson mentioned that both Singh and Sharma have several criminal cases against them in different districts of Jammu province, including Samba. During the operation, police also recovered seven rounds of ammunition, a sharp weapon, and an SUV.
The police are continuing to investigate the suspects’ activities and are looking for any connections to other criminal groups in the area. This operation shows the police’s commitment to fighting crime and keeping the community safe.
