Kupwara, 20 January 2025 – Two people were injured in a vehicle accident in the Dana area near Sadhna Top in Kupwara district. The accident happened when a Tata Mobile vehicle lost control and fell into a deep gorge.
Officials reported that the vehicle, with the registration number JK05N 2838, skidded off the road. The injured individuals have been identified as Gul Bahar Lone, son of Ghulam Mohiuddin, and Sakib Shabir Bhat, son of Shabir Ahmad, both from Sopore.
Emergency services quickly took the injured to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Tanghdar for treatment. Their injuries have not been detailed, but authorities are keeping a close watch on their condition.
Local officials are looking into what caused the accident to help prevent similar incidents in the future. People are advised to be careful while traveling in the area, especially due to the difficult road conditions.
