A truck driver lost his life in a tragic accident late Thursday night inside the Navyug Tunnel. The driver has been identified as Sukhdev Singh, who lived in Pallipora, Punjab.
Officials reported that Singh was driving a truck with the registration number PB-02/CR 9118 when the accident happened. Sadly, he died instantly from the impact.
Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene and retrieved Singh’s body from inside the tunnel. The authorities said that his body will be handed over to his family after completing the necessary legal procedures.
