JAMMU: A female tourist died after a boulder fell from a hill and hit a mini bus on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway in Ramban district, Jammu and Kashmir. Officials reported this incident on Saturday.
The accident happened in the Mehar area, known for landslides. A rock crashed through the window of the mini bus, hitting the woman on the head on Friday night.
She was quickly taken to the district hospital in Ramban, but doctors said she was already dead when she arrived.
The mini bus was traveling from Jammu to Ramban when the accident occurred.
Police identified the woman as Ruby Agarwal from Uttar Pradesh.
