Kishtwar Feb 26: A driver was killed in a truck accident on Wednesday in Kishtwar district, Jammu and Kashmir. The accident happened when the driver, Mohammad Saleem, lost control of his tipper truck, which rolled down a deep gorge on the Kishtwar-Padder National Highway (NH244) at Banjwar.
Saleem son of Ghulam Qadir, lived in Berwar but was originally from Batote. After the accident, his body was taken to the District Hospital Kishtwar. There, officials will complete the necessary legal procedures before returning the body to his family.
Authorities are looking into what caused the accident to help prevent similar incidents in the future. The local community is mourning the loss of Saleem, who will be remembered by his friends and family.
