Jammu Feb 26: Suspected terrorists fired at an Indian Army vehicle on Wednesday in the Sunderbani area of Rajouri district, Jammu and Kashmir. The attack happened at around 1 pm near Phal village, close to the Line of Control (LoC), which is known for militant activity.
Officials reported that the terrorists shot multiple rounds from a nearby dense forest while the army vehicle was patrolling the area. Thankfully, there have been no reports of injuries or casualties from this incident.
In response to the attack, the army troops returned fire and called for more support to deal with the situation. The area has been sealed off, and a search operation is underway to find the terrorists who are believed to be hiding in the forest.
Sunderbani is known as a common route for militants to infiltrate, making security efforts very important. The Indian Army is on high alert as they work to keep their personnel and the local community safe.
