Samba, 12 March – A balloon with the Pakistani flag and name was found on Wednesday in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir, causing concern among local officials. The balloon was discovered in Palauna village, located in the Ghagwal area, by a woman who saw it in the fields.
After finding the balloon, the woman quickly told nearby residents and the police at the Ghagwal post. A police team arrived at the scene and took the balloon for further investigation.
Authorities are looking into where the balloon came from and whether there is any hidden motive behind it. This is not the first time such balloons have been found in border areas, and security agencies are taking the situation seriously.
The discovery of the balloon has raised questions about safety along the International Border (IB). Local officials are advising residents to stay alert and report any suspicious activities they notice.
