Srinagar Police Seizes 8 Vehicles in Illegal Mining Operation

Srinagar, January 27, 2025 – Srinagar Police carried out a night-long operation in the Panthachowk area and seized eight vehicles that were illegally transporting mining materials.

A case has been registered under FIR No. 08/25, and police are investigating to find and charge those responsible for this illegal activity.

The police are advising the public to stay away from illegal mining and the transportation of mining materials. They encourage citizens to report any suspicious activities in their neighborhoods to help fight against illegal mining and protect the environment.
