Srinagar – The Srinagar Police have successfully seized a large amount of illegal drugs that were being sent through a courier company. This operation took place at the Shree Maruti Courier Service in Chota Bazar, Karan Nagar.
Acting on reliable information, the police searched the courier office and found a significant quantity of illegal drugs. The drugs seized included:
- 220 bottles of Mavrix-T Codeine
- 15 boxes of Spasmoproxyvon (7 strips in each box)
- 60 strips of Pregabalin
After the drugs were found, the police registered a case under FIR No. 01/2025 at the Karan Nagar Police Station. They are now investigating to find out where the drugs came from and where they were going.
The police have also started a search to catch the people involved in this drug trafficking network.
