Hazim Bashir Bazaz lives in Housing Colony Chanapora, and Momin Mehraj Bazaz is from Syedpora Eidgah. Both have been involved in selling drugs to the youth in Srinagar, which has become a serious problem in the area.
Despite facing several legal cases for drug-related activities, these men continued to sell drugs even after being released on bail. Their actions have raised concerns among local residents and authorities.
To further combat their illegal activities, the police are also working to seize their properties under the PIT-NDPS Act. This step shows the police’s commitment to stopping drug trafficking and protecting the community.
A police spokesperson stated, “We are serious about using the law to fight against those who harm our community. We advise anyone involved in drug dealing to stop, as the police will catch up with them.”
The police are also asking the public to help in this fight against drugs. If anyone has information about drug dealers in Srinagar, they can call the police at the official helpline number 9596770550.
Together, we can create a safer and healthier community, free from the dangers of drug abuse.
