Doda 08 March: At least seven passengers were injured when a vehicle rolled into a deep gorge in the Doda district of Jammu. The vehicle was traveling from Ghundna to Fafri when it went off the road, falling about 200 to 220 feet.
The injured passengers have been identified as Irfan Ahmed, Nazim Butt, Mozim Shafi, Mubashir Hussain, Adil Hussain, Ashiq Ali, all from Dhival Ghundna, and Yasir Hamid from Massri Ghundna. All of them were quickly taken to Government Medical College (GMC) Doda for treatment.
Local authorities are aware of the incident, and the police have started an investigation to find out what caused the accident. They are talking to witnesses and local residents as part of their inquiry.
This unfortunate event raises concerns about road safety in the area, especially in hilly regions where steep drops can be dangerous for drivers and passengers.
