Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh – Prime Minister Narendra Modi has contacted Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath three times to check on the situation after a stampede happened during the Mauni Amavasya celebrations at the Mahakumbh Mela on Wednesday. Reports say that PM Modi is closely watching the developments and has called for immediate help to deal with the crisis.

The Prime Minister is actively monitoring the situation and giving instructions to help restore order and provide relief. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has also spoken with Chief Minister Adityanath, assuring him that the central government will provide full support.
