Power Outages Scheduled in Baramulla for Maintenance Work

Baramulla 05 March: Residents of Baramulla and nearby areas should be aware of upcoming power outages as the Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced important maintenance work. These shutdowns are necessary to improve the power supply and ensure safety.

Power Outage Schedule

33KV Sheeri Baramulla-1st Shutdown
- Date: March 8, 2025
- Time: 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM
- Affected Areas: Baramulla Main Town, DC Office, Kanlibagh, Sangri, and nearby areas.
- Impact: Power will be off at the Baramulla-1st and Kanlibagh receiving stations.
33KV Nihalpora Pattan-Amargarh Line Shutdown
- Date: March 10, 2025
- Time: 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM
- Affected Areas: Pattan, Zangam, Burn, Nihalpora, Pattan Hospital, Palhalan, Hamray, Wanigam, and surrounding areas.
- Impact: Power will be off at the Pattan, Palhalan, and Hamray receiving stations.
33/11KV Receiving Station Dhobiwan Shutdown
- Date: March 8, 2025
- Time: 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM
- Affected Areas: Lalpora-B, Hardaboora, Tarhama, and nearby areas.
- Impact: The Dhobiwan receiving station will be offline.
33KV Wanganpora-Soura Line Shutdown
- Date: March 8, 2025
- Time: 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
- Affected Areas: Soura, Zoonimar, Nowshera, parts of 90-ft road, and nearby areas.
- Impact: Power will be off at the Soura and Zoonimar receiving stations.
33KV Alusteng-Nagbal Line Shutdown
- Date: March 9, 2025
- Time: 11:00 AM to 02:00 PM
- Affected Areas: Shuhama, Bakura, Darend, Nagbal, Fatehpora, Gadoora, Tulbagh, and Chundina.
- Impact: Power will be off at the Alusteng, Nagbal, Gadoora, and Tulbagh receiving stations.
33KV Kangan-Wussan Line Shutdown
- Date: March 9, 2025
- Time: 10:30 AM to 01:30 PM
- Affected Areas: Wussan, Preng, Manigam, and Haripora.
- Impact: The Wussan receiving station will be offline.
