Budgam, 11 March: A 30-year-old man has sadly died from injuries he received in a stray dog attack in Beerwah town, Central Kashmir’s Budgam district. The attack happened 12 days ago while Parvez Ahmed, a resident of Hardalatana village, was walking to the fields.
Despite being treated at the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) for over a week, Ahmed could not recover from his injuries. His death has caused anger among local residents, who are demanding urgent action to deal with the growing problem of stray dogs in the area.
Community members are asking the authorities to take steps such as sterilization, vaccination, and relocation of stray dogs to prevent future attacks. The increasing number of stray dogs has become a serious concern for residents, who worry about their safety and the safety of their children.
Local leaders and activists are urging the government to act quickly to address this issue, stressing the need for a solid plan to manage the stray dog population. They believe that without immediate action, more people could be in danger.
As the community mourns the loss of Parvez Ahmed, they hope that his tragic death will lead to important changes in how stray animals are handled in the region.
