Bandipora, Feb 28: A large fire broke out late Thursday night in the Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district. The fire damaged a residential house and eight shops. Officials said the fire started in a house and quickly spread to a nearby shop, completely destroying both the house and the shops.
Local people, along with the fire department and police, worked hard to put out the fire and stop it from spreading further. Their quick actions helped prevent more damage.
