Border Security Force (BSF) personnel successfully stopped an infiltration attempt along the International Border in the Pathankot area, officials said on Wednesday.
According to reports, BSF troops noticed suspicious movement in the Tashpatan area. They saw an intruder crossing the border, but when the troops challenged him, he ignored their warnings and kept moving. Sensing a threat, the BSF personnel took action and neutralized the intruder.
Officials are working to find out who the intruder was. They also plan to lodge a strong protest with the Pakistan Rangers about this incident.
The BSF is staying alert to prevent any further attempts to cross the border and to keep the area safe.
