This meeting comes about five months after a similar one was held on June 16, where security in Jammu and Kashmir was reviewed. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government is determined to tackle terrorism with new methods.

In the last meeting, Home Minister Shah instructed security agencies to use successful strategies from the Kashmir Valley in the Jammu division, focusing on controlling areas and eliminating terror threats.

He has previously urged all security agencies to work together efficiently and respond quickly to any threats. Shah has emphasized the importance of coordination among security forces, identifying vulnerable areas, and addressing their security needs.

The Home Minister has repeatedly stated that the government is committed to remove terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir and will do everything possible to achieve this goal.
