E-Challan System Live in Srinagar: No More Warnings, Says SSP Traffic
ShareTweetSendSend

The SSP Traffic, Muzaffar Shah, has announced that the E-Challan system is now fully active in Srinagar. This system aims to enforce stricter traffic rules and improve road safety.

Shah stated that warnings for breaking traffic rules are over. “No more warnings. It’s time for strict compliance,” he said, urging drivers to follow traffic rules and stay disciplined on the roads.

The E-Challan system uses advanced cameras and automated tools to spot violations like speeding, running red lights, and wrong parking. Offenders will receive electronic challans, which they can pay online.

This initiative is part of a larger effort to improve traffic management and reduce accidents in the city. People are advised to follow traffic rules and have proper documents while driving.

The SSP also asked the public to cooperate, saying that road safety is everyone’s responsibility.
