Udhampur, Feb 18 – A CRPF jawan tragically took his own life on Tuesday by shooting himself with his service rifle in Udhampur district. The incident happened while he was part of a road opening team working in the Tikri area along the Jammu-Srinagar national highway.
The jawan has been identified as Praveen Patil, who was from Maharashtra. Officials have not yet determined why he took this extreme step.
