Razloo Kund, 09 March – A violent confrontation erupted between two religious groups at Masjid Sideeqi in Razloo Kund on Saturday evening, resulting in multiple injuries. The fight involved members of the Deoband Jamaat and the Ahle Hadees Jamaat, leading to a chaotic scene that required police intervention.
According to police, the clash started when tensions rose between the two groups, leading to physical fights. At least ten people were injured and were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police acted quickly to prevent the situation from getting worse. “There was a risk of more violence,” a police official said. Although no one was arrested at the scene right away, several people were later taken into custody.
The police have filed a case under FIR No. 126/170 BNSS Act, and ten individuals are now being held at the Police Station Kund. An investigation is underway to find out what caused the clash and to identify anyone else involved.
