In a great show of quick action, the Police in Awantipora, along with a medical team from PHC Aripal, helped rescue a pregnant woman during heavy snowfall.
A worried call came from a man living in Hajin Aripal. He needed urgent help for his pregnant wife, who was in a serious condition because of the heavy snow that had been falling for a day.
The police, led by the officer in charge of the Aripal Police Post, quickly went to the man’s home. Despite the bad weather and dangerous roads, they managed to take the pregnant woman in a police vehicle to Satoora. There, the medical team took over and provided the necessary care.
The local people, especially the woman’s family, were very thankful and praised the police for their fast response and help during this tough time.
