Following Allu Arjun’s release from the Hyderabad jail, the actor paid a visit to his uncle, veteran star Chiranjeevi. On Sunday, social media shared videos of Allu Arjun leaving his home to meet Chiranjeevi, with his wife Sneha Reddy and their children accompanying him.
Earlier that day, Chiranjeevi’s wife Surekha had also visited Allu Arjun at his residence in Jubilee Hills and was seen embracing him.
Chiranjeevi had come to visit him shortly after Allu Arjun’s arrest. Allu Arjun had been arrested on December 13, 2024, in connection with a tragic incident at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad during a screening of Pushpa 2: The Rule. The chaos at the event, where large crowds had gathered to see Allu Arjun and music director Devi Sri Prasad, led to a stampede that resulted in the death of a 35-year-old woman and severe injuries to her 9-year-old son. After being detained at his home, he was held in judicial custody for 14 days but was later granted interim bail for 4 weeks with a personal bond of Rs 50,000. However, due to delays in paperwork, he ended up spending a night in jail. Upon his release, Allu Arjun expressed deep sorrow over the woman’s death, describing it as “very unfortunate” and offered his support to the family affected by this tragedy. On a positive note, Allu Arjun is currently relishing the success of Pushpa 2: The Rule, which has become one of the year’s most anticipated films and is receiving an overwhelmingly positive audience response, already surpassing Rs 1000 crore at the box office, with Rashmika Mandanna starring alongside him.
