Fifty-nine Deputy Superintendents of Police have been regularized, along with the promotion of eleven Inspectors

The Home Department of Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the regularization and promotion of 59 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) as Superintendents of Police (SPs).

The Home Department of the Jammu and Kashmir Government has recently announced the regularization and promotion of 59 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) to the rank of Superintendents of Police (SPs). Additionally, eleven inspectors from the Stenography cadre have been elevated to the position of DySPs. The order specifies the names of the DySPs being promoted, which include Prithpal Singh, Arun Kumar, Noor Ul Hassan, Sunil Kumar Kesar, and others.

Other promoted officers include Mumtaz Ali, Regzin Sandup, Shivali Kotwal, and additional names up to 59 in total. Moreover, several other officers—Farooq Ahmad Wani, Mohammad Usman, Nihar Ranjan, and others—will also be promoted to the rank of SPs. The inspectors from the Stenography cadre who have been regularized or promoted to DySPs are Mohammad Amin Wani, Ghulam Hyder Malik, Sunil Kumar, and several more, totaling eleven.
